Philips 9012 (9012LLC1) "LongerLife" also known as HIR2 replacement head light bulbs (made in Germany), these new Philips bulbs can also replace the old HIR bulbs that were made by Toshiba, please note Toshiba no longer produces these bulbs. The 9012 is a single filament bulb use for low beam in vehicles that are equipped with this bulb type (most of the vehicles equipped with the 9012 also use the same bulb as high beam by using a little reflector that moves up and down when you turn on the high beam). Vehicles that equipped with this bulb type or when some of them don't have the HID option are: Chevrolet Volt, Chrysler 200 and 300, Fiat 500, Ford Edge, Lincoln MKX, Nissan Maxima. In case you have to replace the old wiring harnesses, you can replace them with these 9006 heavy duty wiring harnesses or 9006 Plug-N-Play heavy duty harnesses.
